This year Rome shines for Christmas

This year the Airport Leonardo da Vinci and the historical sites of Rome will be illuminated with multiple lights, LED screens and projections through the use of new technologies and Web 3.0 applications.
An international initiative that will take place simultaneously with Moscow and Krakow for the largest Christmas lighting ever done in Rome.

Mayor Alemanno confirmed that the event in addition to the historic center of Rome, will also involve the suburbs, a project unique in the world that will greet the holiday season like never before, concluding a year of celebrations properly for the 150 years of the unification of Italy and the half-century of the airport of Fiumicino.

All this is totally funded by the associations of traders, and private sponsors, and therefore without commitment from the public finances.
